WordPress pricing
WordPress is free to use. But the articles you create on WordPress will never see the light of day unless you have web hosting and a domain name.
You will need to buy both. But it is not a high cost. Des websites like BlueHost offer hosting and domain names for only a few dollars a month.
I suggest that you go with BlueHost. It's approved by WordPress and will give you a ton of additional benefits, like one-click WordPress installation and 24/7 WordPress support.
Other costs of a free WordPress account are plugins and themes. There are a large number of WordPress plugins you can choose from to improve the look and functionality of your WordPress site.
The price of WordPress plugins varies considerably: from a few euros to a few hundred. Luckily, there are also plenty that are free, so you don't have to spend extra money if you don't want to.

Wix is bluntly telling you that your content isn't meant to be exported and that it is hosted exclusively on its servers.
That doesn't mean you can't move your content around if you really need to, but the process will be a bit painful. You'll need to download everything manually, including all of your images and videos.

There are additional paid apps that you can add to your Wix Ecommerce suite, but I don't recommend them for the price.

Not only is WooCommerce more user-friendly, it's also much more flexible and customizable, allowing your business to grow along with your customer base.
Remember that you'll need to pay for the costs associated with WooCommerce, like hosting and the theme. And just like with Wix, you can also use third-party plugins to improve the experience.
Is Wix better than WordPress for e-commerce?
You should only use Wix for e-commerce if you're selling a casual item., like a limited-run T-shirt line.
If I had to choose between Wix and WordPress, I would have to go with WordPress.
However, Shopify would be my top choice for e-commerce outside of Wix and WordPress options.

If you've used WordPress before, you already know Yoast or the all-in-one SEO pack. Both are by far the most used SEO plugins on the platform. Both will help you with essential SEO tasks.
